A Yak Comfort selection

This is a comfort food at its best, and while there are hundreds of variations of this traditional dish, you will love our recipe. The meat and the vegetables are so ever slowly braised.

Warm your day with this rich, luscious and flavourful classic.

Did you know?

Traditionally, the residual heat from the bread oven was used for cooking stews overnight. It is common knowledge that if you give a stew more time, it will just keep getting better. The method may have evolved, but the popularity of this dish is yet unmatched.

Standard Preparation

Combine the cold water (400-500 ml/serving) and the contents of the bag. Mix well. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover, remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes.

With Insulating Pan Cover

Simmer 2 minutes on low heat, stirring often. Cover, remove from heat and let stand for 12-15 minutes, stirring once or twice.
